Old English Sheepdog Breed Information

The Old English Sheepdog breed is a squarely-built, balanced, compact, muscular, large and sturdy dog. This breed is also known as Bobtail. These dogs are also gentle, loving, friendly, intelligent, and protective. They are very good at herding. It is best if the dog can get plenty of companion from the owner.

Characteristics and temperaments: The Old English Sheepdog breed is intelligent and sociable, which makes him a good companion with children, other dogs and other household pets. The dogs can have their own mind at times. They are also playful and have a strong herding instinct.
Care: The coarse and long hair needs constant brushing and combing to keep it in top condition. This breed is seasonal to heavy shedder.
