Coat: double-coated; outercoat is hard and wiry, undercoat is close.

Characteristics and temperaments: The Miniature Schnauzer is a happy and affectionate companion. They are good watchdogs. Some can be reserved with strangers, although most of them love everyone. The dog is very brave and sometimes dominance, who will challenge even large dogs.

Care: The wiry coat is easy to groom but should require regular combing and brushing. Sometimes the coat is clipped on the upper body so that it is easier to look after.

Training and activity: This little dog is energetic and requires regular long walks. He will love every opportunities to play off leash. This dog can get along well with other dogs provided proper socialization has taken place as a puppy.
