The Bedlington Terrier breed is affectionate and playful dog. Usually he can get along with children, other household pets and even strangers. If challenged, males are fierce fighters albeit its mild outlook.

AKC Breed Group: Terrier.

Breed Weight: 17 - 23 lbs.

Breed Height: 15.5 - 16.5 inches.

Bedlington Terrier Breed

Color(s): blue, sandy and liver. Tan points are acceptable. Puppies are dark but the color are getting lighter after grown up.

Coat: Soft, curly and short, longer hair on legs.

Characteristics and temperaments: This breed needs to be socialized when he is young to make him familiar with others. Bedlingtons Terriers like to play and are energetic. Dominance is common with males, especially when challenged.

Care: Moderate grooming is enough with clipping every one to two months. You may want to take him to professional groomer every year.

Training and activity: This dog loves to play chase and can run very fast. It also like to fetch and jump. Being playful makes the activity a lot fun but can be independent and stubborn occasionally. Bedlington Terriers, like other terrier will be bored if they are not given enough exercise.
